As my parent's construct a new man shed out back to house various pool toys and lawn equipment, I continue to construct my summer wardrobe (using Francesca's dresses of course!). This dress is so perfect for summer. Insanely comfortable and lightweight, I'm pretty confident I can weather any heat and still feel put together. Plus who can resist the adorable geometric inspired print! Check out other cute summer dresses from Francesca's online store!

And so continues my addiction to pieces from Francesca's. I am obsessed with chevron and of course had to have it in blush pink. The open back detailing on this top is such a neat surprise. This outfit is so perfect for transitioning from day to night. Adding some wedges, a statement necklace, and some dainty earrings easily transitions this into a perfect date night outfit.

Lately I've been so inspired by the dresses and tops at Francesca's. I found this awesomely nautical sail boat dress there! How could I pass this up?! My favorite part of it is the criss-cross detailing on the back...so fresh and different! Since I was already in the nautical mood I figured I may as well throw on my favorite flats with the anchor snaps.

This summer I am in love with blush and mint, and I love them together! How gorgeous and romantic is this handbag?? It's my new obsession! The blush pink color surprisingly acts as the perfect neutral. Be prepared to see it pop up frequently in my outfits :).
I also have to give a shout out about the Sam and Libby sandals from Target. Oh my gosh. These are so perfect and so comfortable! They go with everything!!

The town I grew up in is absolutely adorable. In the summer the city comes alive with Farmer's Markets, historical events at Fort Meigs, outdoor dining at the local restaurants and pubs, parades, fourth of July festivities, etc. etc. One of my favorite activities is to visit the farmers market in downtown. All the cute shops open their doors and local farmers and businesses come out to sell local produce, flowers, jewelry, etc. Afterwards, I love walking down to the river with my fresh raspberry lemonade in hand to look at the Commodore Perry and Civil War Veterans Monument that overlook the Maumee River, which has been such a special and calming spot since childhood.
On a different note, I am completely in love with this maxi dress from JCrew Factory! It is the most comfortable piece of clothing I own at the moment. I'm pretty sure I could live in this everyday. This particular day at the Farmer's Market was a bit chilly so I was happy I grabbed my trusty old jean jacket (one of the best buys ever!). I recently found this fantastic chunky necklace at Francesca's which is rapidly becoming an unhealthy obsession because there are so many cute pieces at affordable prices!
I also want to point out that this is my bags first debut on the blog! This beautiful gem has not left my side since her purchase. It's my perfect bag in all aspects: size, color, weight, you name it! It is highly recommended if you are a fan of satchels and medium size bags.

Even though the fashion world has changed and white is fashionable and acceptable all year round, there is still something special about white jeans after Memorial Day. White jeans are such a staple in every one's wardrobe because you can literally pair them with everything and anything!! They are the perfect canvas on which to create and try new looks.
I've been on the hunt for the perfect pair of white jeans for a few years now and I think I have finally found them! These particular ones are from The Limited and what's even better - I found them on promotion for only $30!! That's such a steal for a great pair of pants! Paired with this adorable nautical top from early spring, this look is perfect for date night or a night out with friends. Throw on a pair of heels to dress it up and you are good to go!
